- Agreement: This agreement governs the provision of services by Gadcet to the customer, as described in any estimate, repair ticket, work order, or other documentation provided. By submitting your device to Gadcet for repair or other services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not submit your device for repair.
- Scope of Services: Gadcet provides a range of repair services for various electronic devices, including but not limited to, mobile phones, tablets, and laptops. While Gadcet strives to offer a comprehensive suite of repairs, the company cannot guarantee the feasibility of any specific repair due to variables such as the extent of damage, the availability of parts, or the device’s make and model.
- Quotations and Estimates: Quotations for repair services provided by Gadcet are estimates based on an initial assessment of the device. The actual cost may vary if additional damage is discovered during the repair process, if the cost of parts changes, or if additional labor is required. In such cases, Gadcet will inform the customer of any changes to the estimated cost prior to proceeding with the repair.
- Warranty: Unless otherwise specified, Gadcet provides a 90-day warranty on all repairs. This warranty covers defects in the parts used for the repair or workmanship but does not cover any other damage, failure, or loss related to the repaired device or its use. If the device exhibits the same issue within the warranty period, Gadcet will re-perform the repair at no additional cost.
- Liability for Data Loss: The repair process may result in the loss of data on your device. Gadcet is not responsible for the loss, recovery, or compromise of data, programs, or loss of use of equipment arising out of the services provided. Customers are strongly encouraged to back up all data and information on the device prior to bringing it in for repair.
- Parts: In performing repair services, Gadcet may use new or refurbished parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability. All parts used are either from the original manufacturer or meet the original manufacturer’s specifications.
- Customer Authorization: The customer authorizes the technician(s) providing the service or repair to operate the device and to install any software applications deemed necessary to complete the repair.
- Unclaimed Devices: If you do not collect your device and pay the service charges within 90 days after being notified by Gadcet that your product has been repaired, Gadcet will consider your device abandoned. Abandoned devices will become the property of Gadcet and may be sold or disposed of at Gadcet’s discretion.
- Payment: Payment in full for repairs is due upon completion of the repair. Gadcet reserves the right to withhold the release of the device to the customer until full payment has been received.
- Severability: In the event that any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity or unenforceability of such provision shall not affect the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions, and all provisions not affected by such invalidity or unenforceability shall remain in full force and effect.
- Jurisdiction and Disputes: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Gadcet is located. Any disputes arising out of these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
